2024 Montgomery County Recycling Achievement Award

Pass with Purpose co-founders, Sydney Mednik and Ashley Mednik were incredibly honored to accept the 2024 Montgomery County Recycling Achievement Award on May 22, 2024. 

The Department of Environmental Protection recognized Pass with Purpose with this award at its 25th annual awards ceremony for the organization's outstanding efforts in waste reduction and recycling of old soccer uniforms. 

Pass with Purpose co-founders, Sydney Mednik and Ashley Mednik travelled to Costa Rica in December 2024 to hand deliver uniforms to under-resourced children who live in the country. While in San Jose, Costa Rica providing uniforms to children who play for the club team, Academia de Pavas, they were honored by being presented with the Costa Rica Sports Appreciation Award.
