COLLECTION DRIVE WITH MCLEAN YOUTH SOCCER CLUB

Pass with Purpose has partnered with McLean Youth Soccer Club (MYS) to coordinate a collection drive during the summer and fall of 2024. We joined forces with MYS to collect gently used club jerseys, shorts and socks from MYS families as well as families who have participated in the club's ECNL program, Virginia Union FC (now known as Fairfax Virginia Union).  

Starting in early July, two collection bins were placed in PJ's Soccer/Lacrosse located at 7500 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, Virginia. Families can place their old MYS and Virginia Union FC club gear in the bins any day and time the store is open (Monday-Friday 10:00 AM-8:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM-6:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM-4:00 PM) through the end of September. All families who donate will receive 15% off on all merchandise purchased at PJ's on the day their donation is made.  

Thank you to MYS for helping to promote this collection drive, PJ's Soccer/Lacrosse for allowing us to place collection bins in its store, and of course to all the MYS member families who donate gear. We look forward to sharing pictures and videos of the collection drive and the drive's recipients in the coming months.
